Report for the meeting in 253 GB Khotran
Held on 30th of January 2011 By Pastor Akbar Masih of Pakistan

Dear friends,
Chak No 253 GB Khotran is 15 km away from the office of Sermon and Song Ministry Rajana Pakistan. Most of the villagers are labor and working in the land of Muslim and getting very small income. There are more 35 Christian families. The literacy rate is very low there.
The meeting was started at 10 am and was continued at 2:00 pm. The people from 254, Muridwala, 249 JB , 250 GB, 192 GB and Ogi. More then 200 people excluding children. Many of the Children  took part in worship and sung very nice songs. There were Pastor Mirza Masih , Pastor Shahid Masih , Pastor Saleem Masih.  Brother Safdar Masih  local singer  and Pastor Shahid  Masih from Islamabad, took part in worship. Pastor Saleem Masih prayed in the beginning of the meeting and also prayed for all our benefactors who are supporting us for spreading the Word of Lord in Pakistan.
Pastor Akbar Masih deliver a massage about the Kinds of grace:
The theme of the meeting was from the Ephesians 2:8 8  For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God.
Then the explained the three kind of grace , saving grace Eph 2:8 then Living grace 2 Cor 9  And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. Dying grace. Phil 1:21 For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

So it was explained in different examples from the Bible.  At the end of the meeting the people were invited that we are saved through our faith.  Most  of the people accept the Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord and prayed for their forgiveness.
At the end of the meeting Bibles, CDS, New Testament, Salvation books in Urdu, and other biblical material was distributed among the people. And lunch was served to all of the people who were come from other villages. If do you have any question please let me know. Bye for now God bless you all.
Your brother in Christ,
Pastor Akbar Masih

(September 2010) I am sure all of our hearts go out to the dreadful situation caused by the floods in Pakistan.  Many thousands were left without homes or any earthly possessions.  Brother Akbar has made several trips to the flood area to distribute clothes and food that he was able to gather from other villages.  Along with this help he has given New Testaments on CD, my tracks and booklets, and had prayer meetings and services among those who are without homes.  Some have come to know the Lord as their Savior and he has been able to help one of the fundamental pastors who was a victim, as well as many other Christians.  Sermon and song has been able to send some help, but not near the help we would like to send.  If you would like to be a part of this relief effort.  Send your gifts to Sermon and Song P.O. Box 5400 Greenville South Carolina 29609. By sending that help directly to Akbar, we can be assured that it will go 100 percent for flood relief among the Christians.

The ministry there in his village is going extremely well.  Souls are being saved in nearly every service in his home.  A piece of land has been purchased and paid for on which we plan to build a church and a school.  The two preschools that we have started are going well.  The children are learning not only how to read and write, but they are learning the Bible and the salvation of the Lord.

Plans are now being made to bring brother Akbar Massih, and his wife Rahilla to the United States in January for more training, and hopefully to raise support for the church building and the beginning of the school. Your prayers are deeply appreciated, as we continue to try to go through the doors which the Lord is opening inthat part of the world.

(June 2010) God greatly blessed the visit of Brother Akbar Masih to the United States in February and March of this year. He attended night Bible classes at Anchor Baptist Church Bible School in Pisgsh Forest, NC and spoke in a number of churches. He was loved and accepted by everyone he met. He proved to us all  that he was dedicated to getting the Gospel to his people in  Pakistan. We found him to be an humble sincere and hard working disciple.

As a result of this visit we were able to raise his personal support and make it possible for him to go full time in the ministry by the end of this year. We have purchased a piece of property on which to build a church and eventually a Christian school with high academics  which will become an outreach of the Gospel even to Muslims who want their Children to have a good education.

Since his return to Pakistan he has had one Evangelistic meeting with 500 in attendance and more than 100 first time professions of faith.

As we receive the support we are sending Bibles and New Testaments in Urdu to be distributed free, one to each family. The need for more Bibles and printed material is overwhelming. The people are hungry for the Word and hearing it preached. One church is raising several thousand dollars to purchase solar mp3 players with the New Testament in Urdo for villages that have no electricity.

Our next pressing project is the building of a building; It will cost approximately $40,000.
That is a huge sum but God owns it all and will supply this need through His children that care about the souls of men.

Should the Lord lead you to help: designate your gift to the Building, or the Bibles and literature. You may send it to Sermon & Song Inc. P.O. Box 5400, Greenville, SC 29606. Or you may send it to Anchor Baptist Missions International, 3232 Hendersonville, Hwy., Pisgah Forest, NC 28768. Specify it for Akbar Masih and your desire for its use.
